It happens mostly to all of us that our cell phones indicates that the battery is low are the red light glows. Mostly in that situation if you are outside from your home and their is no possible way to charge your cell phone. Then, what do you do? Panasonic has the answer with a protoype it showed at the Retail Tech Expo in Tokyo of a solar-powered inductive charging table. The table is able to juice your phone, or any other device with a Qi battery, by just setting it down.
Inductive charging has been around for a few years now, but this is the first time we’ve seen a wireless version. In the year we saw inductive charging power mat that was made by Energizer, but it also needed external power to charge the devices. Panasonic’s table is unique, because it is wireless and no cables are required and it charges via solar power collected on the table’s surface.
Another aspect of this table is that the table’s charging panel is connected directly to the battery and there is no need to have a battery in your cell phone to charge it. There is not yet discovered that how long your device should have to sit on the table to make it fully charge.
We mostly view gadgets like camera, cell phones and all the stuff like that and it would be nice to have a universal charger ike Panasonic‘s table to charge such kinda devices. It would be useful to place the table in the restaurants and cafe’s, so ,people can come and charge their devices as well as they can eat or have party.
Panasonic said it would begin selling the table in Japan by the end of this year or early next year. No word on when the U.S. market will see it. At last it is a great achievement made by Panasonic company.
