AT&T Giving Away 1000 Free Rollover Minutes To iPhone Customers

by Erslan on September 22, 2011

Back in February, AT&T offered iPhone customers 1000 rollover minutes to thank them for sticking with them instead of switching to Verizon, which had just started offering Apple’s iPhone at that time.

TiPB reports that AT&T has again sent text messages to some iPhone customers offering them 1000 rollover minute.

AT&T has sent the following text message to iPhone customers:

You’re a valued AT&T customer. We’d like to add 1000 bonus rollover minutes to the mobile number ending xxxx. There is no cost or obligation to you. It’s our way to say thank you.

Customers have to reply “YES” to the message to accept the offer. In fact, just like last time some users are reporting success by sending “YES” to the following number 11113020 even though they haven’t received the text message.

The reason for AT&T’s sudden generosity is still not clear. We wonder if it has anything to do with speculations of iPhone 5 coming to Sprint and T-Mobile USA.
