Samsung Galaxy S III Leaked Specs

Samsung Galaxy S II is touted as the ‘world’s most powerful smartphone’.  It is said that the Korean smartphone maker is now making the Samsung Galaxy S III which will be successor to the SGS II. An anonymous member of 4Chan has reportedly received some information from a Samsung rep on the new Samsung Galaxy S II and if these specifications turn out to be correct it is going to be a very interesting Android smartphone.

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy S III will come with Android Ice Cream Sandwich and will be powered by a quad core 2GHz processor, plsu 1.5GB RAM and 32GB of built in storage.

  • 2.0 GHz quad core processor
  • 1.5 GB RAM
  • 32 GB internal memory; expandable memory through microSD cards
  • 4.65 inches Super AMOLED III screen having a resolution of 1,280×1,024 pixels with 352 PPI pixel density.
  • Ten megapixels camera capable of recording 1080p full HD videos at 60 frames per second
  • 9mm body thickness
  • 2,250 mAh battery
  • NFC built in
The new Samsung Galaxy S II is expected to be unveiled at MWC 2012, and it is likely to go on sale in the middle of 2012.
